Last July this beautiful couple held their Indian Sikh Wedding in Barcelona. Sonam and Kiresh wanted something very relaxed with their family and friends in their beloved city. The most important thing for them was the venue, as they really wanted to have an outdoor party. This is actually something that many couples wish for. However, it is not always easy to find venues that allow an outdoor party until late into the night. Nevertheless, we found it and they loved it!

2016 has been a fabulous year, a true turning point. We had a rebrand from Catalonia Weddings Boutique to Valtueña and the cherry on the cake was winning the award as the Destination Wedding Specialist of the Year by the Luxury Travel Guide.

Catalonia Weddings Boutique started 5 years ago in London. Since then we have been working very hard and it's been very rewarding organising so many weddings and events whilst getting to know so many wonderful couples.

Georgie and Nick's wedding was one of pure boho chic with lots of personal touches, from the bridal crown to the centerpieces. Georgie and Nick were looking for a unique venue and after visiting quite a few of them, they chose a fortified house that was built later on in the Fifteenth Century to defend attacks by pirates and bandits.

The story of a family. The first time that we met Issy and James in London we realised that they were looking for a great time with their family. They have 2 gorgeous kids and the third was on the way. Like many other couples, they had a bond with Catalonia as Issy spent much of her childhood there. So, it was a no-brainer the location of their wedding: the Costa Brava in Catalonia.

Shobi and Mark had a very clear idea in mind: they didn't want to get married in the UK. We showed them all that Catalonia could offer and from all the different options, they finally decided to go to a very exclusive venue: a private island located up north Catalonia.

There were only 4 months to go until their wedding day when Shirley and Kris decided to book our services. They heard about us through a friend of theirs who also trusted us with their wedding.

This wedding was very special to us. Aida is a beautiful, delicate and stylish Catalan lady that we met when she and Luca, a true Italian gentleman, were still living in London. After a period of being engaged, they moved to Houston where they were meant to plan their wedding.

There were only 6 months left to Albert and Melia's wedding when they contacted us. Initially, they wanted to arrange everything by themselves as Albert is originally from Catalonia but eventually, they realized that they needed some help as planning a wedding is quite time-consuming and both of them were very busy at work.

Everything started during The Designer Wedding Show in London. We were exhibiting there when suddenly a beautiful lady called Steph, with stunning eyes and a perfect smile, popped into our stand. She was looking for the perfect venue to marry in and she didn't hesitate a minute when we discussed the possibility of Camp Nou (FCB stadium) as a venue. Gary, her husband-to-be and a big fan of soccer, was obviously really easy to convince. That's how they decided on their wedding venue: FC Barcelona Stadium was the one!

This is the story of a gorgeous couple whose lives crossed in Germany a long time ago. Since then, they have lived in different countries including the UK and Catalonia, Spain from where they are originally from.

Love. Just love. That’s what Susanne & Garry meant to us. They wanted to get married in a small fishing town in Catalonia called Calella de Palafrugell that they knew well from their past travels there.  Given the wonderful bond between them and the town, they decided to go for a Scottish-Catalan culture mix as their wedding theme. So, it was all about symbolism and every single detail was very meaningful to them.

All weddings are special because all weddings are different. It may sound cliché but it isn't. Each couple is different and their personality can be felt in each wedding we organize. Laura and Ian had a very clear idea about what they wanted: a different, laid-back and fun wedding close to the beach with personal touches all around.
